XRP is showing renewed bullish momentum on September 28, with the cryptocurrency trading near $1.537 after recovering from its recent consolidation phase. The latest XRP price action keeps the $1.65–$1.70 resistance zone firmly in focus as traders watch for another potential breakout.
XRP staged a strong rally in late August, breaking out from around $1.35 and climbing to nearly $1.70. The token subsequently entered a multiweek consolidation period between approximately $1.35 and $1.55, creating a base for its latest advance.
After briefly testing the $1.65 level last week, XRP pulled back but has maintained its broader bullish structure. Immediate support sits between $1.45 and $1.50, corresponding with the upper portion of the previous consolidation range. Holding this zone could help preserve momentum and encourage buyers to enter on price dips.
Technical indicators also remain constructive. XRP is trading comfortably above its 50-day moving average, which has turned higher and sits near $1.36. Meanwhile, the 200-day moving average remains around $1.35 and is still trending slightly downward. The convergence of these averages could eventually produce a bullish crossover if XRP continues advancing.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is currently in the 60s, indicating strong momentum while remaining below levels typically associated with an extremely overbought market.
The main upside hurdle remains between $1.65 and $1.70. A decisive move above this resistance area could open the door for XRP to challenge fresh highs. However, a drop below $1.35 would weaken the bullish setup and potentially expose the token to another test of the lower $1.30 range.
Elsewhere in the crypto market, Bitcoin is trading near $84,900 after retreating from $87,400, while Gram has climbed to around $1.63. Near Protocol has recorded an even sharper rally, surging more than 200% over the past month to approximately $5.20.
