Until today, there is still rampant speculation on the status of the marriage of former first lady Melania Trump and her husband, former President Donald Trump. A dating expert has weighed in on their marriage, claiming that there is hardly any chemistry between the former first couple.
Lady Nadia Essex of the Celebs Go Dating program on UK’s Channel 4 claimed that the Trumps hardly have any chemistry as a couple, citing that the former first lady’s body language towards Trump is “hostile.” The Trumps have often been compared to their predecessors, even to Joe Biden and his wife Dr. Jill Biden, their icy interactions being a stark contrast to the more affectionate presidents and their spouses. Ms. Essex also noted that Melania does not seem to want to be around the now-former president, and sooner or later, the former first lady would decide to leave him.
“There is zero chemistry between them and her body language towards him is very hostile,” said Ms. Essex. “She clearly does not want to be in his company and often is seen bashing his hand away when he tries to hold hers. I think it’s only a matter of time. She could divorce whilst he was president so I wouldn’t be surprised if she files for divorce before the next US election.”
Essex went on to claim that neither Melania nor Trump are actually very happy in their marriage and already live separately. Both Melania and the former president have been residing at Mar-a-Lago in Florida full time since leaving the White House last January. Both have also established their post-White House offices.
Ms. Essex’s claim is also in line with previous reports stating that Melania was “bitter and chilly” towards her husband especially following the January 6 riots at the Capitol. The reports went on to claim that the former first lady now spent most of her time at the spa. Melania’s office has since issued a tweet blasting the reports.
“Mrs. Trump is no longer First Lady. She is a private citizen, mother & wife. Sources in this article are not affiliated with her nor have insight into her thoughts and daily life. CNN’s FLOTUS Correspondent choosing to publish false gossip illustrates the media’s unhealthy obsession,” tweeted Melania’s office.
