McDonald’s Australia is reportedly preparing to debut a new item this month, and it was revealed to be a Cadbury milk chocolate-flavored McFlurry dessert. To be more specific, it was mentioned that the Cadbury Caramilk McFlurry is arriving soon at the burger chain’s restaurant outlets in the country.
Based on the reports, the Caramilk has been rumored for weeks, but McDonald’s Australia is not confirming it yet. However, a so-called source who has knowledge about the upcoming release of the new McFlurry flavor reportedly confirmed 7NEWS.com.au that the fast-food chain is certainly introducing it in the coming days. The insider supposedly told the publication that the spokesperson of McDonald’s Australia made an announcement to “stay tuned” for more developments.
“We know how much love and excitement there is for our iconic McFlurry,” the spokesperson allegedly told fans of the fast-food restaurant. “We are actively listening to customer feedback and encouraging our loyal McFlurry fans to stay tuned for more information.”
In any case, the product is believed to have been scheduled to arrive in the middle of this month, and as per the Daily Mail, if the speculations are correct, the launch date could be on Oct. 13. The speculations about the Caramilk have been going around on social media for weeks now and many people have already expressed excitement for its arrival.
It was noted that the rumors about the new flurry dessert hitting McDonald’s Australia started when a leaked image surfaced online. This has been described as a “never-before-seen” product, so it immediately sent fans into a frenzy.
Likewise, the news first broke when three weeks ago, Nick Vavitis, a 27-year-old chef in Brisbane, shared a photo on his Instagram Story and posted it with the caption that reads: “Oh my sweet sweet god we are getting Caramilk McFlurry.”
On his IG, he added a follow-up reply for those who were asking for details. He said, “I can confirm it is 1000000 percent true and they are throwing a private launch party for it.” Then again, McDonald’s Australia has not issued any confirmation yet up to now.
Since then, fans have been debating if the post is real or not. Still, many of them are convinced that the new Caramilk McFlurry photo is not fake and they will soon see it at McDonald’s Australia outlets.
