“Kingdom Hearts 3” has been on many video game fans’ wishlists over the years. Now, they have finally received the good news that, practically, nothing can delay the release date of the highly anticipated title.
Video game fans around the globe welcomed a very important announcement from director Tetsuya Nomura on Tuesday. “Kingdom Hearts 3” has officially gone gold, which means Square Enix now has the full and first official version of the game. And a couple of new trailers were also released to celebrate the milestone.
“Kingdom Hearts 3’s” official release date comes almost one a half-decade since the launch of its main series predecessor. The fans eagerly waited for this moment likely since 2012 when Square Enix and Nomura officially announced the game.
Nomura also shared on Twitter a comprehensive preview of the “Kingdom Hearts 3.” The extended “Together” trailer was initially limited to North America cinemas until Nomura took to Twitter the announcement that his team has finally “wrapped up development.”
I'm proud to unveil an extended version of the trailer that's been playing in NA cinemas. And guess what? We've wrapped up development of #KingdomHearts III!

The said trailer shows Sora, Donald, and Goofy travel through the vast worlds where the Disney and “Final Fantasy” characters converge. Meanwhile, the trailer also reminds fans that “Kingdom Hearts 3” is, indeed, an “epic conclusion” to a widely followed video game series.
Fans of Disney flicks will undoubtedly appreciate the worlds “Kingdom Hearts 3” will offer. This is probably the only title where fans will see Queen Elsa fighting off robotic snow creatures.
Meanwhile, watching through the “Kingdom Hearts 3” extended trailer, the narration also noticeably draws heavy emphasis on fighting the enemies “together.” This will definitely come into play in ultimately defeating the antagonists known as the Heartless.
“Kingdom Hearts 3” going gold this week gives Square Enix just enough time to mass produce physical copies of the game and ship it around the world before its promised release date. The game is officially available on Jan. 29, 2019 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
