Jennifer Lopez is reportedly marrying her fiance Alex Rodriguez but then, he must sign a prenup first. The “Aint Your Mama” singer is said to have added a “cheating clause” in the agreement so as to prevent his future husband from committing infidelity.
J.Lo ensuring that A-Rod will stay faithful to her
Based on the report by Woman’s Day titled “J.Lo Tells A-Rod: You Cheat, You Pay,” it was claimed that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have put off their wedding preparations as they want to polish their prenuptial agreement. The couple wants a comprehensive contract but in the end, the legal process allegedly strained their relationship.
The magazine wrote that the tension between the two was very visible when they were seen leaving a building in Los Angeles. Both J.Lo and A-Rod look furious when they were spotted at that time.
“All hell’s broken loose over the prenuptial agreement and Jen’s practically ready to call Alex’s bluff and ditch him if he doesn’t sign on the line,” the tipster supposedly told Woman’s Day. “The problem is they are both used to marrying relatively unknown people and expecting the other person to simply sign.”
It was suggested that what was causing the tension was the cheating clause that Jennifer Lopez wants in the prenup. She’s reportedly demanding a $250 million compensation in case Alex cheats on her when they’re married. The singer is said to be pushing her fiance to sign but he is upset over this.
“His lawyers are insisting he fights," the insider said. "This means things aren’t too happy at home right now.”
The truth about the prenup
Gossip Cop dismissed this report after speaking with someone who knows the truth about the prenup. The source told GC that this is another untrue story about Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez.
This means that J.Lo is not asking for a prenup with the said cheating clause and corresponding compensation. The publication is further debunking this claim as Woman’s Day is not a reliable media outlet. In fact, Gossip Cop has already refuted many of its reports about Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez.
