Jennifer Aniston is rumored to be engaged in a “flirt fest” with her ex-boyfriend since she is single again. Jen and Gerard Butler are reportedly getting really cozy again but this may also spell trouble if his girlfriend Morgan Brown gets wind of this situation.
In an article published by National Enquirer titled “Jen’s Ex-Life Heats Up!” the magazine claimed that the 51-year-old “Friends” actress is getting closer to Gerard again. The report also described the actress as “love-hungry” and implies that this is why she is flirting with her ex-boyfriend.
Jen and Gerard’s relationship
It was said that Gerard Butler stayed in touch with Jennifer Aniston even if they broke up after dating for a year in 2010. They remained close and in fact, there were reports that the actress leaned on Gerard when she went through her second divorce from Justin Theroux.
“Jen always really liked him,” the insider allegedly told the National Enquirer. “Lately, they have been sharing late-night chats to pass the time during the long and lonely lockdown.”
The source further alleged that since she split from Theroux in 2018, her love life really cooled down. It was said that Jennifer Aniston has been flipping through her secret list of contacts as she’s apparently lonely.
“It’s been a huge boost to her ego that he (Gerard Butler) still finds her witty and attractive,” the source went on to say. “She doesn’t want to break up their romance.”
However, it was claimed that Jennifer Aniston and Gerard have a problem since the latter has a partner already. It was said that if Morgan Brown finds out about their “flirting,” that would lead to her breakup with her boyfriend and this time, it would be for good.
The truth
Is it true that Jen and Gerard are sorts of starting their romance again like what the National Enquirer reported? Gossip Cop went on to investigate to determine the truth and concluded that it was all a nonsense report.
The publication stated that the story was fabricated and just noting the fact that the “source” who supposedly provided the tip has not been named and untraceable, it is clear that it is a bogus narrative. Finally, GC contacted Jennifer Aniston’s rep and confirmed that the story is false.
