Details about “Jack Ryan” season 3 are still top-secret, but fans can pick up some clues from the last episodes of the second season. One of them is the possibility for Mike November (Michael Kelly) to return and join Jack’s (John Krasinski) next mission.

'Jack Ryan’ season 3 cast, plot rumors: Mike November’s return might be inevitable

Mike was one of the characters introduced in season 2. Unlike other new faces, his role was more involved in Jack and James Greer’s (Wendell Pierce) mission. He even played an important role in saving the latter and, in a way, also saving Jack from himself.

“It was a respect and a friendship and a trust that was built over the season, and it’s kind of a great moment to know that he went out on a limb to make sure Jack gets to keep being Jack,” executive producer Allyson Seeger explained. While, again, nothing is known yet about “Jack Ryan” season 3, this new bond might be telling fans something about the cast of the next installment.

Fans may recall that Jack was hell-bent on killing Nicolas Reyes (Jordi Molla) in season 2, episode 8. He may have taken the shot if not for Mike’s advice. With Greer’s presence in the field in question for “Jack Ryan” season 3, having Mike back to join Jack in the next mission is something that would go well with the future plot of the series.

Jack has also tackled some very powerful entities in and out of the United States in season 2. It would not be surprising if some familiar adversaries would also make a comeback in “Jack Ryan” season 3. Having an ally familiar with the dilemma would be very helpful to Jack.

'Jack Ryan’ season 3: When could it be released?

The series kept an annual premiere for its first two seasons. Fans obviously hope that would also be the case for “Jack Ryan” season 3. Unfortunately, more clues about the production suggest otherwise.

It was reported that “Jack Ryan” season 3 will have a new showrunner, Vaun Wilmott. He and Krasinski have also purportedly just started building the scripts at the time. This already suggests a very tight schedule if Amazon Prime Video wants to deliver the new episodes in 2020.
