Ivanka Trump to quit as an advisor if Donald Trump is elected for a second presidential term

Ivanka Trump

Ivanka Trump recently had an interview with a magazine show, and she was asked about her political plans for next year. It can’t be avoided that they also discussed Donald Trump’s impeachment and if she will continue to work as her father’s special adviser if he is re-elected in 2020.

Ivanka’s political plans

The 38-year-old businesswoman revealed that the decision on whether she will still be in the political arena next year would largely depend on her children. During the interview on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Ivanka Trump said that she might quit from her job as an adviser if Donald Trump wins for his second term in the White House.

“I am driven first and foremost by my kids and their happiness, so that's always going to be my top priority,” she told the interviewer and host Margaret Brennan. "My decisions will always be flexible enough to ensure that their needs are being considered first so they will really drive that answer for me."

Ivanka Trump has three children with her husband, Jared Kushner, and they are Arabella, 8, Joseph, 6, and Theodore, 3. In 2017, they moved to Washington from New York City after they were given a special work by the POTUS.

Ivanka’s comments on Donald’s impeachment

Ivanka Trump was also asked about the House of Representative’s decision to impeach his father. The First Daughter revealed that rather than being worried and depressed, she said that it just left Donald Trump feeling "energized" ahead of the trial that was set for January. She shared that the president said that “it didn't even feel like he was being impeached."

It can be recalled that early this month, the POTUS was impeached for alleged abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. In any case, Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared spent the holidays in Paris.

She shared photos of her romantic getaway while the Trump family was in Mar-a-Lago for the annual Christmas Eve dinner. The couple is known to love traveling, and they usually share moments of their trips on social media. Meanwhile, it was not known if their children were with them in Paris as well.
