Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been together since 2015, and it was a controversial union since the two of them were just recently divorced at that time. Not even a year, but both have broken up with their spouses just a few months before.
Despite their intriguing relationship, many people cheer for them because Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton showed to the world that they are meant for each other. What’s more, the country singer was accepted by the “What You Waiting For” songstress’ children from her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
The rumored wedding
Many are urging them to get married already, and besides, they have declared countless times that they feel they have finally found the partner who they can spend the rest of their lives with. The pair have been rumored to be getting married or have already tied the knot many times, but the truth is - Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are not rushing things.
In the latest report from Us Weekly magazine, it was alleged that amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple decided to hold two wedding ceremonies. The cost of these nuptials was said to be $10 million since they are inviting hundreds of guests. The ceremonies are reportedly happening in Blake Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch, and the other is in Los Angeles,
“Oklahoma gives the couple more privacy and the possibilities are endless for a wedding reception people will talk about for years,” the insider supposedly told Us Weekly.
Another source allegedly told the magazine that Gwen Stefani wants the wedding to take place as soon as the lockdown is lifted. “COVID-19 has turned their world upside down, as it has with so many families,” she said. “Gwen knows she is blessed and wants to have the wedding as soon as social distancing guidelines are lifted.”
Furthermore, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are said to be willing to spend $10 million for their wedding as they decided to go all-out for the two most special days in their lives. The pair is said to be considering a July or August wedding.
The truth
Gossip Cop debunked this story about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton simply because they have not even announced their engagement yet, so a wedding is obviously not in order. Also, the publication pointed out that this is not the first time that Us Weekly wrote a false article about the two’s wedding, so this one is not believable as well. Finally, after reaching out to Stefani’s spokesperson, Gossip Cop was able to confirm that the story is not true.
