As “Fortnite” Season 5 is coming to a close, Epic Games is rolling out the last legs of challenges for its player base before the next update arrives. Fortunately, the developers provided a pretty straightforward quest line for players that can be completed with relative ease, Forbes reported.
There are seven challenges for the eighth week of “Fortnite” Season 5. But for free players, there are only three, namely placing 10 traps on the map, searching for seven chests in Wailing Wood, and eliminating four players using shotguns.
For players with Battle Passes, four more are included. They’re to deal damage 250 damage to opponents using a pickaxe, use 10 different rifts in various spawn areas, open three oversized seats, and, lastly, kill a single opponent at Greasy Grove. While some of these may be relatively difficult for some players, especially those who joined during “Fortnite” Season 5, they can still manage to achieve all of them by playing several games.
As most veterans know, the best way to quickly get over all seven challenges is to do several of them all at once. For instance, players can opt to find chests, place traps, and eliminate others at the same time. Doing this during “Fortnite” Season 5’s weekly challenge will ensure that the tasks are filled quickly and efficiently.
For those who aren’t well-versed on where exactly to find chests and these oversized seats, there’s a video below that details the exact locations of them. It also provides guides on where to efficiently enter rifts to easily finish that “Fortnite” Season 5 challenge.
It’s essential to finish these challenges for players who are trying to level up quickly and obtain coveted loots in the game. For instance, the tasks may reward players with skins, gliders, emotes, pickaxes, and many more. Completing all seven challenges will also provide 4,000 experience points for players, which is a great way to end “Fortnite” Season 5. While there’s still no official announcement on when the next update will drop, it’s expected to arrive on Sept. 20, judging by how Epic Games released the previous seasons.
