The “Black Clover” anime series may be in the middle of a filler storyline, but it is an arc that is worth following. It joined the list of shows that went into hiatus since late April due to coronavirus. As things currently look, it seems unlikely that the delayed “Black Clover” episode 133 would be released in June.
‘Black Clover’ episode 133 release date: What to expect
Postponements of ongoing anime shows and manga series started in the second half of April. It followed the declaration of a nationwide state of emergency last April 7 that was initially planned to last for a month. It was eventually extended through the end of May, but Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has ended it on Monday throughout the country.
If this development would mean “Black Clover” episode 133 and other Japanese anime can safely go back to its regular broadcast schedules, fans should hear about it in the next couple of weeks. However, such an announcement has not happened yet for the series based on Yuki Tabata’s same title manga series.
OrganicDinosaur and Spytrue previously reported an announcement in an issue of Shonen Jump that confirmed reruns of old “Black Clover” episodes have been scheduled until June 9. The latter also pointed out that it included an important disclaimer, “This may continue for a longer period.”

But this does not exclude that they will provide us with a great thing ???? https://t.co/qioHMlVOhv
What this means is June 16 is the earliest possible release date for “Black Clover” episode 133, but it is still not a guaranteed return schedule for the anime. When the postponement was announced on the show’s official website, producers promised to release a statement on the same channel once the show’s comeback has been decided.
Unfortunately, as of this writing, no update of that nature has been posted yet. With that, fans are better off expecting “Black Clover” episode 133 to be delayed beyond June. A prolonged hiatus is not unheard of these days. The final season of “Food Wars” will not return until July while its latest episode aired on April 18.
‘Black Clover’ training arc to last until the end of Season 3?
The current training arc is anime-original, so no one really knows how long it would run except for Tabata and the anime producers. But there are suggestions that it could go on through the end of “Black Clover” season 3.
That translates to more than 20 episodes since it started in episode 130 and the first two “Black Clover” seasons each had 51 episodes. Some might argue that it is too much for an anime-original arc, and they might be right. However, fans should keep in mind that this arc is not a mere filler as it connects to the timeskip shown in the manga where the attack on the devil Megicula in the Spade Kingdom started.
