The Black Bulls are going to train with the Crimson Lion in “Black Clover” episode 132 and it could unlock the potential power of Leopold in the process. Meanwhile, fans are expecting this to be the last installment before the series goes on a break due to COVID-19.

Black Clover’ episode 132 spoilers

The anime is currently filling in the events of the series before the time skip to the Hearts and Clover Kingdoms’ attack on the Spade Kingdom. So while the events in “Black Clover” episode 132 are not part of the manga, it is somehow canon to the story.

Members of the Black Bull Squad works with the Crimson Lions in “Black Clover” episode 132 to hone their skills in a very challenging environment. They are likely going back to the Ultimate-Volcano Mountain Trail for this training exercise. Fans may be familiar with the location as it was the setting for the earlier Hot Spring Training Camp.

Several members of the Crimson Lion appear in the “Black Clover” episode 132 preview, but the episode may focus on Leopold while Mereoleona leads the training. From the Black Bulls, Asta, Noelle, Nero, Charmy, Gordon, Nero, Magna, and Luck will be joining as well.

Leopold, even though part of the noble family of Vermillion, is not known for his strength and combat skills unlike his older siblings Fuegoleon and Mereoleona. But based on “Black Clover” episode 132’s title, “The Lion Awakens,” this could be an important development arc for the character.

Black Clover’ episode 132 release date

“Black Clover” episode 132 is expected to be released on Tuesday, April 28 and it will be the one half of a two-part story. However, the second part might have to wait a few weeks before it goes on the air.

A well-known source of anime insider reports, @Spytrue on Twitter, claimed this could be the final installment before the series joins other anime titles into a surprise hiatus due to COVID-19. This report has yet to be confirmed, but it is not unlikely as other popular shows like “Food Wars” season 5 and “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” were already postponed for a few weeks for the same reason. Fans are generally accepting of the possibility that new episodes of “Black Clover” will be delayed considering the safety of the animators.
