AirPods Pro is possibly one of the most requested gifts this holiday season. And the new features that Apple added in the new earbuds would explain why that is the case.
Discounts on AirPods Pro are very elusive, considering that it has only been released for over a month. Additionally, AirPods Pro units are also difficult to find because it is almost constantly out of stock. A product as in-demand as this pair of earbuds is unlikely to get a price cut.
AirPods Pro goes in and out of stock
Even Apple’s official store has run out of stock of AirPods Pro. People can still order it from the website, but the information indicates that the earliest possible time of delivery is around mid-January 2020.

The AirPods Pro is also temporarily out of stock on Amazon, Target, and Walmart, while B&H promises “more on the way” for customers looking to buy the new earbuds. Some Best Buy stores have supplies of AirPods Pro. Orders can be placed on Best Buy online, but customers have to pick it up at the nearest location where it is available.
It was previously reported in late November that the market demand for AirPods Pro surpassed Apple’s predictions. As a result, the company doubled its orders from its supply chain from 1 million to 2 million units of AirPods Pro every month.
It will take some time for these changes to manifest in the market, which could explain Apple’s online store promising a delivery date by mid-January. AirPods Pro retails for $249 and ships with the wireless charging case, three pairs of silicone tips in different sizes, and lightning to USB-C cable. Its highlight features include active noise cancellation, adaptive equalizer, and IPX4 certification, meaning it is resistant to sweat and water.
Deals for earlier versions of AirPods are now available
On the bright side, the second-generation of AirPods — regular price starts at $159 — is on sale on various stores right now.
The package with the wired charging case is now available on Amazon with a $20 discount. Walmart and Best Buy offer a $15 discount for the same item, but the latter comes with a free four-month Apple Music subscription to new users. AirPods 2 can also be purchased with a wireless charging case for $199.
