GREENVILLE, S.C., Sept. 08, 2016 -- eRAD announced that it has added a new product to its comprehensive suite of imaging workflow solutions. Released today, RADAR Nudge is a bi-directional, secure collaborative messaging tool for communicating patient information among remote healthcare providers.
eRAD is a subsidiary of RadNet, Inc. and a leading provider of standards-based, web-centric radiology image and data management solutions.
Nudge transmits secure, encrypted information instantly among connected providers. Available for Windows users, and as an app on iOS and Android mobile devices, Nudge enables healthcare providers to securely share and collaborate on any type of patient information.
Premier Diagnostic Imaging, a long-standing eRAD customer, went live on Nudge several weeks ago. “We’re using RADAR Nudge internally to streamline employee communication between departments,” said Bob Gunter, CEO of Premier. “It’s been very effective in improving patient service and decreasing patient wait times.”
“If a radiologist has a question for a tech while she is reading a study, or if the front desk wants to double-check a patient question with the billing department—this is the kind of quick teamwork that Nudge enables,” said Vince DiBiasio, Director of Software Development at eRAD. “It actually frees up the workday, because issues that can be addressed instantly are handled instantly, without a backlog of all these open loops that require follow-up.”
Nudge captures messaging history and contacts and allows the sharing of images, links, documents, and other rich content. Messages can be grouped by topic into “conversations” for easy organization. Activity on one device is synced elsewhere, and all messages are archived for easy retrieval.
“The Nudge platform allows our team to get quick responses, share sensitive patient data securely, and receive messages remotely with the Nudge iOS and Android Apps,” said Gunter. “RADAR Nudge has streamlined our workflow while creating higher productivity and happier employees. And patients are impressed with our smooth service delivery.”
Seth Koeppel, Senior VP of Sales at eRAD, said, “RADAR Nudge is one more way that we bring innovative solutions to our customers. We work hard to deliver tools that are simple to use but deliver a big impact on productivity. Nudge is an ideal way to foster teamwork among providers—and that’s what 21st century healthcare is all about.”
