I am a Senior Lecturer in International Political Economy in the Department of International Politics at City, University of London. Before joining City I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University, and a Fellow in International Political Economy in the Department of International Relations at the LSE. I received my PhD in 2013 from York University.
My research focuses on corporate power and inequality in global finance, and has been published in New Political Economy, Socio-Economic Review, and the European Journal of International Relations.
I am the author of Public Debt, Inequality, and Power: The Making of a Modern Debt State (University of California Press, 2016).
