Dr. Tyler Paytas is a Research Fellow in Philosophy at Australian Catholic University. He received a PhD in philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2015. Tyler's primary research interests are in moral philosophy and the history of ethics. He is the co-editor of a forthcoming volume on the ethics of Henry Sidgwick and Immanuel Kant (Routledge), and he has published peer-reviewed articles on moral psychology, virtue theory, and the question of God's existence.
