Dr Zoe Staines is an independent research consultant and a Senior Research Assistant and Sessional Academic at the Queensland University of Technology's School of Justice. She has previously held research and policy positions in the Queensland Government, academia and in the not-for-profit sector, most recently working as a Researcher, Senior Policy Officer and Manager of Evaluation at the Cape York Institute for Policy and Leadership. Zoe has a keen research interest in Indigenous governance, policy, evaluation and developmental crime prevention. She holds degrees, including a PhD, in criminology.
