My name is Houssem Ben Lazreg and I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Alberta with the Department Modern Language and Cultural Studies. I am also teaching Arabic and French and working as a freelance translator. I have been in the USA for four years where I had the chance to teach Arabic, ESL and French at different universities such as Michigan State University, Nazareth College of Rochester, and West Virginia University. In addition to that, I taught some classes related to foreign language education and sociolinguistics with the department of Literacy, Culture and Language Education at Indiana University in Bloomington.
