I am a historian and digital humanist on the European Holocaust Research Infrastructure, based at King's College London, and an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Exeter. My research interests include twentieth century British and American history, with a particular focus on Second World War internment, immigration and minority history, historical memory, commemoration and the preservation of sites of historical memory, business history, philanthropy, and information management.

I have given seminars across the country on internment, including the keynote talk at the Italian Cultural Institute at the Italian Embassy in London in 2015 for the 75th anniversary of the tragedy of the Arandora Star. I have also appeared on the BBC and Sky News and blog for the Huffington Post.

I have previously worked in the Departments of History at the University of Exeter, and Royal Holloway, University of London, and have also lectured Business at Kingston University.
