I am presently working as Associate Professor and Head, Department of Political Science at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad, India. I was awarded Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University. I regularly write opinion pieces in the newspapers, magazines and online portals of repute like The Tribune, The Statesman, Deccan Herald, New Indian Express, Tehelka, Firspost, The Citizen, Countercurrents, and so on. Before joining MANUU, I served at National Law University Odisha (NLUO), Cuttack, Aligarh Muslim University, and KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.
