Frederic Malherbe is a Professor of Economics and Finance at UCL and a Research Affiliate at the CEPR. Fred's research interests include financial intermediation, banking regulation, and political economy. He has published in, amongst others, the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Political Economy, and the Review of Financial Studies.
Since 2020, Fred serves as the MSc Finance Scientific Director, the PhD in Financial Economics Director, and the Centre for Finance Director.
