Dr Adrian Grantham is a Director at APG Insights, an independent consultancy specialising in the energy industry. He is also currently undertaking contract work for the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and an Adjunct at the University of South Australia.
Dr Grantham previously worked at the AEMO where he was the Regional Demand Forecasting Lead with responsibility for developing, delivering and advising on medium to long-term minimum and maximum regional forecasts of electricity and gas demand and distributed energy resources. This work fed into key AEMO publications such as the Electricity Statement of Opportunities (both for the National Electricity Market and Wholesale Electricity Market), Integrated System Plan and Gas Statement of Opportunities.
