Dr Ashwin Dhanda is a Consultant Hepatologist at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust where he is lead for alcohol services. He is an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Plymouth. His research and clinical interests are in alcohol-related liver disease. He leads a research programme investigating immune biomarkers of alcohol-related liver disease and methods to reduce alcohol-related harm through psychological therapy.
