I have also held fellowships at Harvard, the U. of Sydney, and the UConn Humanities Institute. I have written two books, Warring Friends (2008) and Point of No Return: The Deadly Struggle for Middle East Peace (1997; co-author). I am co-director of crowdcounting.org
