Associate Professor, Public Health Physician, University of Melbourne
Nathan Grills is a Public Health Physician and Associate Professor with the Nossal Institute for Global health at the University of Melbourne. He works largely on India-based projects related to disability, non-communicable diseases, health systems and and health training. In particular, he is working with the Public Health Foundation of India to address tobacco usage. Prior to this he worked as a Public Health Fellow (Victorian Dept. of Health) and as a researcher with CDC & WHO on HIV. He extensively researched faith-based health programs whilst completing his MPH and DPhil at Oxford University under a Rhodes Scholarship. He has also worked in Africa, Fiji, East Timor, PNG, Bangladesh and Nepal.
