I have a BA, MA, and PhD in politics. I worked at the University of Leeds for four years teaching politics and sociology. Since 2020, I have worked as a research fellow on a major project looking at the design of the UK's system of regional government. My research expertise includes British politics, local and regional government, English devolution, the Conservative Party, and social security policy.
