Dominick Burton is currently a Marie Curie Research Fellow at Aston University with over twelve years research experience within the field of cellular senescence. He carried out his PhD studies at the University of Brighton before undertaking a postdoctoral position at the University of Miami, USA. He then worked at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel before being awarded a Marie Curie Research Fellowship within the UK.
Dominick's research interests are focused both on the "good side" of senescent cells during normal healthy processes, as well as their "bad side" during ageing and age-related diseases.
