I am a PhD candidate (submitted) at the Australian National University, with an interest in applying ideas from Social Identity Theory and Self-Categorization Theory to issues in public health and clinical psychology.
My PhD Thesis, "Disorder Identity: Opportunity or Obstacle?", investigates the role of social identity processes in the etiology of psychological disorder and recovery.
I also have 10 years of experience in public policy in Australia and New Zealand.
