In 2000 I completed my Masters of Science in Cell Biology in Brazil and in 2005, completed my PhD at Sydney University. In 2008 I started my post-doc at Sydney University and in 2010, was offered a position as Senior Research Fellow at The George Institute. In 2015 I became Sydney Medical Foundation Fellow.
