Andrew Geddes is Director of the Migration Policy Centre and part-time Professor in the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute, Florence, Italy. Until September 2017 he is also a Professor of Politics at the University of Sheffield. He holds a 5-year award (2014-19) funded by the European Research Council Advanced Grants Scheme on global migration governance (www.migrationgovernance.org).
