Taro Sugihara is an Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Okayama University. He specializes in user studies in human–computer interaction, and his interests lie in researching user behavior and workplace for the field of care, particularly at the university hospital during caregiving activities for persons with dementia and nursing at hospitals. He also conducts research in the area of knowledge management. Taro studied human–computer interaction at Kyoto Institute of Technology and was Doctor of Engineering.
