I have 17 years’ experience of teaching in schools sandwiched between research and lecturing in the field of cell biology. My scientific background is predominantly in cell biology and the interactions between intracellular signalling molecules. My research interests these days are pedagogical within the context of the biomedical sciences, in particular the transition between stages in education and the progression from school to higher education.
