I am a final year PhD student in the Department of Politics at the University of York. My current research focuses on debates of emergency governance and political economy of taxation in Argentina (2002-2015). As part of a period of fieldwork for my thesis, I was a visiting researcher at the Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Buenos Aires for 3 months in 2019. I teach at the University of York on the the module Introduction to International Politics and am currently working on a project relating to emergency tax legitimacy and state capacity building.
