Ali is a Ph.D. Research Fellow in human-robot interaction and digital-twins for manufacturing applications at the University of Southern Denmark. Ali received his civilingeniør, cand.polyt. (M.Sc. Engg.) from SDU, Denmark, and B.Sc. Engg. from Punjab University, Lahore.
The thing that excites Ali is the research-oriented unveiling of ‘factories of the future’, and his research focuses on manufacturing systems design and planning with an innovation aspect. Ali has a strong focus on human-robot teams and their virtual simulations. Ali is working on industry-led research projects together with the Manufacturing Academy of Denmark (MADE) to strengthen the manufacturing industry. His research has been published in the Journal of Industrial Robot, CIRP Annals, and other outlets.
