Dr Scott Regan is a researcher and lecturer in music and sound at Queensland University of Technology. Scott’s PhD examines how ‘The Brisbane Sound’ has been defined and debated in the media since the late 1970s. His research interests include Brisbane music history, the contemporary Brisbane music scene and implications of local policy. Scott is also a founding member of the folk-rock collective The Gin Club.
