Joanne is the course leader for Crime and Investigative Studies. She has 23 years of practitioner experience working for law enforcement in the UK and the US and has been an academic for more than 5 years.
Joanne joined ARU as a Senior Lecturer in July 2017 having previously been a Senior Lecturer and programme Leader for Forensic Science at Liverpool John Moores University.
Joanne worked as the Forensic manager for a Police Department in the United States for more than 5 years and was a Senior Forensic Practitioner with the Metropolitan Police in London for 17 years.
