Conjoint Senior Lecturer, School of Medicine and Public Health, University of Newcastle
I am a Clinical Psychologist and Developmental Researcher who is passionate about understanding the factors that contribute to the mental health and well-being of all Australians.
My research has primarily focused on understanding the factors that contribute to the mental ill-health of both children and adults, and the translation of this research into accessible evidence-based programs. I have co-authored two online therapeutic programs for children and am currently leading the development of a new online program for adult carers for those experiencing anxiety or depressive symptoms. I also have expertise in managing large and complex multisite research trials across both academic and industry settings.
I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist for more than 10 years, with a focus on child and adolescent mental health. My education and work history combine to highlight my commitment to advocating for the mental health and well-being of youth and their families through both research and clinical practice.
