PhD researcher, International Relations/Political Science, Graduate Institute – Institut de hautes études internationales et du développement (IHEID)
I’m a PhD candidate in International Relations/Political Science at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. I study influence on and of regional international organizations in their broader environment. My primary focus is the African Union, and I also have worked on regional integration in the post-Soviet space. Thematically, I am interested in peace & security and infrastructure development/trade.
My research is published in the Journal of Common Market Studies (JCMS), West European Politics, International Spectator, and by Routledge. Previously, I studied at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) of University of London, the College of Europe (Bruges) and University of Geneva. I have worked in Brussels and Palestine, most recently as a consultant.
