I work as a lecturer and tutor in Education and the Learning Centre at the University of Sydney.
In 2013, I completed a PhD in Communications at the University of Technology, Sydney. My project focused on the versions of Australian values and Australian history included in the the Australian citizenship test.
My research interests and teaching experience include academic literacies, transition pedagogy, cultural studies, sociology, national identity, citizenship and TESOL.
I am a member of International Australian Studies Association.
