The Dallas Mavericks has inked a deal giving with US cryptocurrency platform Voyager Digital the naming rights for Mavs Gaming Hub, the home venue of the Mavericks’ NBA 2K League team.
The deal also includes brand visibility and promotions for Voyager Digital within the American Airlines Center and makes it the Mavericks’ first-ever international partner.
The Mavericks will leverage its partnership with Voyager through global activations and fan engagements.
The partnership will also utilize educational and community programs in increasing cryptocurrency accessibility.
Voyager’s existing sports marketing efforts have focused more on individuals with National Football League (NFL) star Rob Gronkowski and Nascar driver Landon Cassil on its partner roster.
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said he looks forward to the team and NBA fans learning more about earning from Voyagers’ platform than traditional financial applications.
Voyager CEO and co-founder Steve Ehrlich said that he looks to the partnership with the Dallas Mavericks to make crypto more accessible to all.
