SAN ANTONIO, Sept. 07, 2016 -- Valero Energy Corporation (NYSE:VLO) announced today that it has priced a public offering of $1,250,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 3.400% senior notes due 2026. The offering is expected to close on September 12, 2016, subject to customary closing conditions. Valero intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including the funding of the redemption of $750 million aggregate principal amount of its 6.125% Senior Notes due 2017 and $200 million aggregate principal amount of its 7.2% Senior Notes due 2017.
