Life and Death Experiences Are All About Building a True Smart Book Scanner
It’s definitely not an easy job to start up a business, but what you may not know is that CZUR’s road to foundation was about life and death. Kang Zhou, CEO of CZUR, was once diagnosed with lymphoma (90%) by mistake at the age of 22. That misdiagnosis totally changed Kang’s state of mind. “During that depressed period, I almost released all the negative energy in my life. When facing any adversity in the future, it will be nothing more than a game’s level,” said Kang Zhou.
When hearing complaints in a print shop that book scanning is such a difficult task and that you have to press the book very hard but content in the curved crack still can’t be scanned completely, an idea for the smart book scanner came into his mind. Hence, a team dedicated to providing smart book scanner was formed and this 6-man Chinese team even reached Chinese prime minister Keqiang Li, who awarded CZUR with a Golden Key prize for startup.
“Never forget why we started and forge ahead” is the CZUR team’s motto and they will long practice it.
A Super-Fast Book Scanner in the Size of a Desk Lamp
As early as the end of 2015, the CZUR ET16 Smart Book Scanner has made a spectacular crowdfunding campaign: won over 3,000 backers and raised $840,000 in less than two months; officially recommended via email by Indiegogo 13 times and reported by over 100 global media (including the US, Germany, Japan, Spain and etc.).
John Biggs, writer for TechCrunch, described “The CZUR Scanner Can Build a Digital Library Five Minutes at a Time”, saying it could be “a godsend for a smaller library”. Architectural Digest magazine praised that “The World’s Fastest Scanner Is Actually Stylish, Too” due to ET scanner’s advanced scanning technology, fast scanning speed and desk-lamp-sized appearance.
CZUR will keep opening up and deeply cultivating the global market in the future and ET16 Plus will soon launch on Amazon.com. Let’s stay tuned.
