SAN DIEGO, April 30, 2018 -- Couples Rehabs has partners in San Diego and reports on new local events and news regarding the city. The inpatient drug rehab for couples releases new information about funding for drug addiction treatment in San Diego. County supervisor Greg Cox addressed a press conference announcing the plan of San Diego county to adopt a massive overhaul in the drug abuse treatment program. The change will bring more federal funds which will help in expanding treatment options, more beds in the facilities and better connection of patients with large network of treatment services.

Back in 2015, California became the first state to use the federal waiver through which a state could devise its own treatment program by using federal money. The Medi-Cal program brings public agencies and service providers together for better coordination.
The recent revamp is set to make the treatment facilities better and have more coverage in terms of medical help.
Drug abuse treatment facilities in San Diego
The numbers of drug addiction related cases are soaring nationwide. San Diego County also witnessed rise of substance abuse and related deaths every year. In this scenario, the new revamp will provide better help in this battle to fight addiction. San Diego County is looking to triple local and federal spending on addiction treatment from $54.6 million to $179.6 million
