Saaswedo, a major player in the TEM market, identified by Gartner as one of 15 representative vendors in its "Market Guide for Telecom Expense Management Services, 2017." In the same week, Saaswedo's product Datalert was recognized in Gartner's report "Cool Vendors in Mobile and Wireless Analytics 2017 ".
Saaswedo designated a Gartner Cool Vendor for DATALERT product in Gartner's "Cool Vendors in Mobile and Wireless Analytics 2017"
Marketed for a year, Datalert alerts mobile users and their employers in real time of employee mobile data usage, reducing the risk of unexpected and costly overages.
According to Gartner, "Mobile device usage has become "business as usual" in most organizations. Infrastructure and operations leaders responsible for mobile and endpoint strategies should review these four innovative companies for opportunities to ideate new services, improve productivity and optimize cost."
Traditional TEM is critical to large organizations to consolidate and report on telecom expenses. However, to mitigate the risk of costly data usage scenarios such as international roaming or exceeding pooled data plans, there is a need for a 'Real Time TEM', which offers a huge ROI. "Our 10,000 traditional TEM customers were looking for a way to prevent the costs - which can be excessive and unpredictable, so we invested in 2.5 years of R&D to develop and launch Datalert to solve this challenge" says Christian Cor, CEO and co-founder of Saaswedo.
Datalert is a configurable SaaS platform for businesses that tracks cellular data consumption of mobile devices in real time. Through the Datalert centralized portal, administrators can monitor and manage the data usage of company devices. Once consumption exceeds configured data allowance limits for an employee, Datalert sends automated alerts to the employee and administrator, or in certain circumstances leverages Mobile Device Management to disable data altogether, thereby allowing the employee and company to anticipate and avoid telecom overage charges for data and roaming.
