PHOENIX, Jan. 31, 2017 -- Risas Dental and Braces, a health care company committed to making dental care accessible to all, is celebrating National Children’s Dental Health Month (NCDHM) by offering free exams and x-rays for all kids, as well as educating students on proper oral health care at a number of Arizona schools during the month of February.
“One of the top reasons kids miss school is due to dental problems,” said Dr. Whitney Wright, founding orthodontist at Risas Dental and Braces. “It’s crucial to educate them on proper care. Parents can help by ensuring they eat a balanced diet and have regular dental visits, so their teeth can remain healthy and strong.”
Free Exams and X-Rays
Risas Dental and Braces will offer free exams and x-rays for all children ages 17 and under between Feb. 1 – Feb. 28. Parents can make an appointment for the free exam and x-rays at any of Risas’ bilingual offices, by calling 480-566-2930 or they can book online at www.risasdental.com.

The Risas team will conduct fun oral health care activities and each student will leave with a complimentary dental care goody bag, including a toothbrush, toothpaste and more activities from NCDHM.
“Teeth are meant to last a lifetime, and a healthy smile is important to a kid’s self-esteem,” said Jeff Adams, managing director at Risas Dental and Braces. “We’re invested in the Phoenix community and excited to provide free exams and x-rays to Arizona kids, and work with students and their parents to help them have a healthy smile.”
