Porsche Korea, the local unit of the German automobile manufacturer specializing in high-performance sports cars, has unveiled its Taycan 4S Cross Turismo car that was specially designed in collaboration with BLACKPINK’s Jennie.

Porsche Korea revealed the new car on Wednesday, Oct. 12 and it was said to have been designed as part of the company’s Sonderwunsch program. This scheme allows people to build their dream Porsche car based on the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo and BLACKPINK’s Jennie is the latest personality to have signed a collaboration to produce her customized car.

As per The Korea Times, the Kpop superstar’s Porsche has been named "Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for Jennie Ruby Jane" and it was made under the brand’s Sonderwunsch House unit which builds customized luxury sports cars to meet its customers' special requirements.

In German, Sonderwunsch simply means “special request” and this explains why Porsche named its customization after the term. Both Jennie and Sonderwunsch’s names were embossed on the wheel’s hub cover.

The vehicle was painted metallic black and the Meissen Blue color was used on the 21-inch rim for contrast. The BLACKPINK member requested for a cloud logo to be projected on the ground from the side of the car through the logo projector installed in the front door.

Since the 26-year-old idol singer also owns a cat, Porche included a black pet carrier for her dog. The carrier has been painted in Meissen Blue and features her dog’s name on the front. It was added that Jennie designed the clouds that were placed inside the pet carrier.

The new Sonderwunsch Porsche Taycan model built for Jennie Kim will be put on display until Oct. 26. It will also be featured at the upcoming Black Pink World Tour concert on Oct. 15 in Seoul. For fans and car enthusiasts who want to see it, it will be at Sonderwunsch House in Seoul.

“JENNIE had very specific images of her dream Porsche. The collaboration was accordingly intense and inspiring,” Porsche’s vice president of individualisation and classic, Alexander Fabig, said in a press release. “Working together with international customers on these special projects is particularly exciting and enriching. In this case, we were also faced with interesting challenges that motivated us as a team to be able to make even the most creative wishes come true.”

BLACKPINK’s Jennie also said, “Being able to collaborate so intensively on my own very personal Porsche was an amazing experience.”
