The upcoming update to “Pokemon GO” is going to feature some rather interesting changes for fans of the mobile game. For starters, it would appear that there is a risk for Blissey to get nerfed, which would mean that trainers will need to find another tank to use as a favorite. It would also seem that 107 new Pokemon have already been added to the game’s files ahead of the update.
In a recent blog post by Niantic, it was revealed that there will be some changes made to “Pokemon GO”, particularly with regards to the issues of balance. Specifically, there will be some adjustments to the effectiveness of certain Pokemon in battle so that players don’t abuse broken characters.
“Pokémon Defense and Stamina values will be retroactively rebalanced, allowing highly defensive Pokémon to be valuable in battle by outlasting opponents rather than simply running out the clock,” the blog post reads.
For some fans, this immediately meant that Blissey is going to be nerfed, which would be obvious to veteran trainers of “Pokemon GO.” After all, the next evolution of Chansey has a staggering amount of stamina and HP, making her perfect as a means of wearing down the opponent or just absorbing damage.
Most importantly/critical is the rebalance coming to Pokémon, Blissey is bound to get nerfed and Defense seems to play a bigger role from this point on forward.

I am excited to see the change but I got faith this change is probably done with PvP in mind.#PokemonGO
There is also the report by Forbes, which indicates that Niantic is about ready to release 107 new types of Pokemon in “Pokemon GO,” with their files already added to the Android version of the game. This was discovered by a data miners over at Silph road, which confirmed that the files are in the app’s APK.
With this being the case, the new Pokemon should be added to “Pokemon GO” today or tomorrow. At the latest, the critters might just be released on Oct. 14, which is not that long of a wait anyway. Regardless, it’s going to be fun for fans of the game.
