“PUBG Mobile” is gearing up to add new content this week in the theme of – you guessed it – Halloween. The new update will bring in significant changes in the game, as well as nerfs and other improvements to make the experience smoother.
First up is the new Payload Mode of “PUBG Mobile” that will herald the arrival of several new weapons, including RPGs, rocket launchers, and mini-guns – all of which can be looted in Special Crates. It’ll also introduce a revival system that can bring a dead teammate back to life, similar to what “Apex Legends” has done.
Lastly, Payload Mode will allow players to jump into a helicopter’s cockpit and traverse the map with ease. That is, of course, if you don’t run into someone cradling RPGs and rocket launchers. Suffice to say that this new mode will provide “PUBG Mobile” a fresh new way to enjoy the game.
PUBG Mobile new hybrid vehicle
A new ground-based vehicle will also be added in the form of the BRDM-2 Amphibious Armored Vehicle that will replace the Armored UAZ. This terrain-flexible hybrid has been outfitted with bulletproof tires and sturdy armor to better protect the team that is packed within. It’s still unclear, however, how this vehicle will fair against the new “PUBG Mobile” heavy artillery.
On a more tactical note, the game will be adding a small but significant strategic approach by allowing fuel cans to explode if shot or damaged by explosives. “PUBG Mobile” players can use this as a trap or a means to deter anyone who is intent at grabbing a kill and “thirsting” people. Also, players who have been downed can opt to hide behind fuel cans so their teammates can turn the tides around.
PUBG Mobile snipers rejoice
Another strategy is for those who have a penchant for dropping people from afar. “PUBG Mobile” will not allow people to climb ledges to position themselves better if they have a sniper on hand. It would be interesting to see what sort of nest this new mechanic will bring. Fighting for the high ground has never been more crucial.
As for the nerfs that the new “PUBG Mobile” update will bring, it’ll target two weapons. First is the introduction of the UMP45 that’ll be replacing the UMP9. The second is that the Vector will get its damage reduced from 34 to 31 but will be provided with increased magazine capacity to make up for the loss damage.
