WASHINGTON, April 6, 2016 -- Closing the racial gap in privately held firms with employees would add 9 million more jobs and $300 billion in additional worker income to the U.S. economy, an upcoming report from the Center for Global Policy Solutions finds.
The report, to be released on April 20 at a news conference, marks the kick off of the 2016 Color of Wealth Summit, which will discuss strengthening entrepreneurship and economic development in communities of color, and will take place on April 21 at the Capitol Visitor Center.
