WASHINGTON, Feb. 19, 2016 -- The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) recently issued its annual call for nominations for the 2016 NACD Directorship Awards, which include the NACD Lifetime Achievement Award, the NACD Director of the Year, and the NACD Directorship 100.
The selection process begins with an open nomination for candidates. Honorees are then selected by an NACD editorial advisory committee and the association's leadership team.

Now in its 10th year, the NACD Directorship Awards recognize leading corporate directors and governance professionals who have demonstrated excellence in the boardroom through innovation, courage, and integrity. This year's honorees will be featured in the November/December issue of NACD Directorship magazine and acknowledged at a black-tie gala on Nov. 30, 2016, at Gotham Hall in New York City.
Last year's honorees included NACD Lifetime Achievement Award winner Bonnie G. Hill, Director, California Water Service Group; and NACD Director of the Year Christopher J.
